How do I measure the success of a training program?

See what employees are participating and deep dive into content and engagement.

Training program report shows:

  • Attendance. This shows you if employees you have invited are taking part in the training program.
  • Average score. This is an ultimate training performance indicator, determined by how many employees watch the training videos and complete the quizzes correctly.
  • Content and employee engagement. You will be able to look at the average score from different angles.

What's in the report?

The attendance

Attendance

The attendance score shows the total number of employees who logged into the training, whether they finished a lesson or not.

Use this to:

  • Remind employees who have not attended the training yet, to promptly react to low attendance (see Reminders section)
  • Evaluate the communication methods you used to inform employees about the training, in case you expected a higher attendance rate

The average score

Average score

The average score is an ultimate training performance indicator, determined by how many employees watch the training videos and complete the quizzes correctly.

Use this to:

  • Remind employees who have not completed the training yet to promptly react to low average score (see Reminders section)
  • Compare performance with previous training programs to determine positive or negative security awareness trend in your company.

Content and employee engagement

The below overview enables you to look at the average score from different angles:

  • Training lessons
  • Employee lists
  • Employees

Training lessons

Lessons

Use this to:

  • Identify high- and low-performing lessons to build more targeted training programs in the future

Employee lists

Lists

Lists tab gives you an overview of the average scores for each employee list you included in the training program.

Use this to:

  • Identify low-performing lists of employees and think about their roles - do they represent the big risk factor by not being aware of certain cybersecurity threats?
  • In combination with the Employees tab, as some groups might have overall low performance due to certain individuals.

Employees

Employees

Employees tab gives you an overview of the average scores for each employee.

Use this to:

  • Look into the performance of employees with a higher level of responsibility and access to sensitive data
  • Check with lessons employees viewed and how many quizzes they answered correctly.

Training reminders

Reminders 2

A simple way to keep numbers high and employees engaged is by sending reminders. Use “Send reminders” CTA to remind those who have not completed the training yet.

Anyone under 50% completion is considered a Low-performing Employee.

Anyone under 100% completion is considered a not finished Employee.
